Gorillaz, Beastie Boys and Tinie Tempah will release singles for Record Store Day

Gorillaz, Beastie Boys and Tinie Tempah, they will release singles for Record Store Day in April.

Gorillaz will release 'The Fall' on 180-gram vinyl while Beck and Bat For Lashes collaboration 'Let's Get Lost'.

And the Beastie Boys will release the first single from their new album 'Hot Sauce Committee Pt 2', as a limited-edition vinyl.

The View have recorded the official anthem for this year's Record Store Day, a cover version of The Tweeds' 1980 song 'I Need That Record'.

Record Store day is an celebration of independent record stores will run on April 16.

Gorillaz Unleashed The Fall


On 16th April 2011, for Record Store Day fans of Gorillaz can download The Fall which is now ready to release on 180gm vinyl and also on CD and digital download on 18th April 2011 by Parlophone.

Throughout the Gorillaz 19 date North American Tour last autumn had been created by the band. Recorded on a daily basis in various hotels and venues, The Fall, is a sonic diary of that journey.

A download of The Fall was originally gifted to members of the Gorillaz fan club on December 25, 2010. The 15-track album was produced by Gorillaz and Stephen Sedgwick.
