Gorillaz Split?

Both The White Stripes and LCD Soundsystem have recently called it a day and now it has been reported that Gorillaz to have 'split'.

Following a bitter bust up between founders Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett,it was reported by paper that band have "sensationally" called it a day.

The pair are said to have "decided they are no longer able to work together after completing a sellout world tour that became dogged by angry rows."

An insider is quoted as saying "Things haven't been great for a while, so it was hardly a surprise when this came to a head the other week. There's been a massive argument and that has basically ended things. Jamie's gone abroad to be with his girlfriend, while Damon is busy with his opera and with the return of Blur."
